The School of Economics and Management of Yanshan University is the fifth batch of MBA training institutions, which approved by the state. Meanwhile, it contributes to serving the regional economy, strengthens the commercial civilization and leads the great progress of our society. In order to enlarge the influence, the school promotes the international exchange and cooperation between the school and the university. In 2013, the School of Economics and Management enrolled the first international master's student in the university, which opened a precedent for the training of international master's students. In 2014, the first doctoral students were enrolled, and the training level was more and more comprehensive.
In the past ten years, the enrollment scale of international students has been expanded and the training level has been improved continuously. The school has enrolled and trained more than 150 students from more than 30 countries, including the United States, Russia, South Korea, Pakistan, Belarus and so on. The training level covers undergraduate students, master's students and doctoral students. In 2020, an overseas postdoctoral fellow from Pakistan, which broadened the way of cooperation with overseas students.
At present, the college has a complete training program for all English courses, and the training system for international students is becoming more mature, the training quality is improving steadily.With the guidance of the tutor, a number of high-level articleswere collected by the major journals.
The school has trained more than 50 overseas graduates,whichcontribute to the political and economic development of the world.
The missions of school of Economics and Management include in serving the regional economic construction and supporting social development in China,training students’integrity on the aspects ofability, morality, vision andresponsibilitiesas an elite. The propose of School of Economics and Management is to build high level,international well-known domestic economic management academy. To achieve this target, the school needs to widen thewayon foreign students training, forge ahead steadily, promote the international communication and cooperation of the world and enhance the international visibility and influence of the school.
