In the morning of August 5, the release ceremony of the second quarter of 2022 "China's Good People List" was organized by the Central Civilization Office and the national moral models and good people around the scene exchange activities were held in Qufu, Shandong Province, with China Civilization Network, "Learning Power" platform, Xinhua Network and Guangming Network and other platforms broadcasting the whole event simultaneously. A total of eight people from Hebei Province were honored on the list, and Feng Yiwei, a graduate student from the School of Economics and Management of the University, was honored on the " China's Good People List ", which is the first time that students or teachers from Yanshan university were selected for this.

Since April 2008, the Central Civilization Office has been organizing the "I recommend and comment on the good people around me" activity for 14 consecutive years, regularly promoting the evaluation of the " China's Good People List ". Candidates for the list are nominated by grassroots cadres and masses, reviewed and recommended by local civilization offices and relevant member units of the Central Civilization Committee, and their deeds are displayed through the China Civilization Website, where they receive praise and comments from netizens. As a mass civic moral practice activity, the "Good People of China" vividly tells the stories of the good people around in the new era, focuses on the ordinary heroes, sets civilizational examples, spiritual role models and action guidelines for the general public, and guides the moral progress of the whole society.

Feng Yiwei, male, born in 1998, is a member of the Communist Party of China and a master's student in the School of Economics and Management of Yanshan University. He has won such honors as the typical character of the "Star of Jiqing" in the new era of Hebei Province, the outstanding commendation of national students' social practice, and the distinctive representative of "Experience the Province - Serve the Masses" practice in Hebei Province and so on. Since his undergraduate studies, he has devoted himself to social practice and public welfare activities. He represented Yanshan university in the National Student Practice Special Action, served in many large-scale events and activities, and organized and planned dozens of large-scale student activities. During the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games and Winter Paralympic Games, Feng Yiwei served as the volunteer supervisor of the National Biathlon Centre, where he stayed throughout the whole process and devoted himself to escorting the volunteers, becoming a "volunteer Pioneer" and contributing his youthful enthusiasm and strength to the ice and snow event.
