School of Economics and Management Held a Seminar for New Teachers

On the occasion of the 38th National Teachers' Day, the School of Economics and Management held a seminar on "Welcome New Teachers, Celebrate Teachers' Day" in the afternoon of September 8 in Conference Room A215 to extend a welcome to the new teachers and wish them a happy holiday. 30 teachers who are new to the School of Economics and Management attended the seminar. Zhang Zhenhua, secretary of the Party Committee of the School, Liu Lin, a department-level counselor, Jing Kunpeng, vicedean of theschool, and Zhang Zhichao, vice secretary ofthe Party Committee of the School, attended the meeting. The symposium was hosted by Li Chunlingwho is Dean of the School of Economics and Management.

Li Chunling, on behalf of the College, expressed great expectations for the new teachers to become a member of the School of Economics and Management. She introduced the development history and overview of the school, and hoped that the new teachers would effectively use the previous academic foundation to integrate into the teaching and research team as soon as possible. Besides, she encouraged them to strengthen their character and implement the fundamental task to the whole process of teaching and educating people.

Zhang Zhenhua described the teacher training work of the school from the aspects of attracting talents, retaining talents and playing the role of talents. He called on the new teachers to give full play to their expertise and strive to become the "good teachers" needed by the party and students on their new journey, and play a major role in teaching, scientific research and various work of the school.

Liu Lin, Jing Kunpeng and Zhang Zhichao combined their work and offered guidance and suggestions for new teachers from recognizing their families, changing their roles and teaching. The staff of the comprehensive office communicated with the new teachers from the aspects of title evaluation,teaching management and so on.

Teachers attending the seminar spoke actively and created a lively atmosphere. They all expressed their gratitude for the care and support of the school, and strived to integrate into the Economic and Management family as soon as possible and make positive contributions to the development of the school with practical actions.
